What Reflection actually shows
Claude Reflection creates a report about how you use Claude: recurring topics, timing patterns, and the kinds of work that keep appearing. You can review one, three, six, or twelve months.
It is better treated as a mirror than a score. A repeated pattern can help you notice a habit; it does not prove that the habit is productive, unhealthy, or necessary.
Who can use it
As of July 20, 2026, Anthropic says the beta is available to Free, Pro, and Max users with Memory turned on. It works from Claude settings on the web or desktop app.
Cowork conversations are not included yet. Anthropic says support for those conversations is coming later.
Three useful questions to ask after the report
- Which task keeps coming back because I should make a template or Project for it?
- Which late-night habit could move into tomorrow's list instead?
- Which request am I outsourcing even though I already know the answer?
Use quiet hours as a boundary, not a punishment
Reflection can support quiet hours or break reminders. Pick a boundary that solves a real pattern, such as no rewriting work emails after midnight, instead of treating every evening Claude session as a failure.
The privacy limit
The report may summarize personal or sensitive conversations at a high level. Review it privately, and remember that it depends on Memory being enabled.
Reflection is not surveillance of everything you do, a mental-health diagnosis, or an objective productivity report.
